  1. Can my company be the policyholder ? Yes, you can.
  2. Who can subscribe a policy ? Everybody whose home address is in Belgium, Holland , Luxemburg, Germany, France or the United Kingdom.
  3. What is Europe ? In the Sunassistance policies, we extend Europe with Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Cyprus, Turkey (100 %) Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Vatican, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, FYR Macedonia.
  4. PAYPAL ? Are payments via Paypal safe ? Paypal is one of the safest ways to pay on the internet.
  5. Can I always call Sunassistance when I need them ? Yes you can call us 24/7 every day !
  6. Do I have immediate cover when I subscribe a policy ? Yes

Guarantees

  1. Are pre-existing illnesses covered in the cancellation cover ? Yes, if your doctor agrees to let you travel on the bookings date
  2. Do I get a refund when I return earlier ? Yes, If you return due to a covered event and only if you have a cancellation guarantee in you policy.
  3. Am I covered on a business trip ? Yes, you are.
  4. Are the classic winter sports covered in the standard assistance policy ? Yes.
  5. Is scuba diving covered ? Yes, until -10m. Scuba divers who dive deeper should subscribe the sports guarantee. (until -45 meters)
  6. My house got serious damaged during my trip. Do you repatriate me/us ? Yes we do.
  7. I am victim of theft/loss of my luggage. Is everything insured ? No, There are no insured items such as mp3, ipod/ipad, cellphones, sunglasses , sports equipment …: see general conditions.
  8. Should I always go to the police in case of theft ? Yes.
    In case of lost luggage at the airport, you have to ask a PIR which is a property irregularity report.
  9. I go on a trip with my car. When am I covered ? The moment you step into your car for departure to your destination.
  10. What is the maximum allowed weight of covered vehicles ? 3.5 tons max.
  11. What is the maximum age of a covered vehicle ? The first commissioned date of a car on the date of booking is maximum 10 years back..
  12. ANNO policies : Is my vehicle insured in my home country. Yes, as from your house and all year long.
  13. Is a replacement car included ? Yes. (see general conditions for detailed information)
  14. Are the towing costs limited ? No, they aren’t, except for cars older than 5 years. Than the towing costs are limited with the actual value of the car as a maximum.
  15. Does Sunassistance renew the Anno policy after one year ? No, the policy terminates after 364 days. One month before the final date we will send you an email and ask you if you want to renew the policy.
