The United Kingdom was not part of the Schengen agreement, which made travelling between Schengen countries much easier. Still, we were able to travel very easy to and from the United Kingdom in the Schengen area because they were/are a member of the European Union. Now the British have left the European Unio. Their is a possibility that they will implement their own rules.. So it may be possible that in the future you have to fill out a lot of documents if you want to visit London for example.
